Bladderwrack + Sea Clay Soap | Unscented

Bladderwrack is a brown sea vegetable that can be found off both continental coasts of the United States and Canada. It is traditionally used for its nutritive and skin soothing properties. It possesses a characteristic seaweed aroma that is reminiscent of being on the ocean.

Sea Clay is a cosmetic kaolinite clay. It is naturally rich in minerals, and it helps to absorb impurities.

The combination of bladderwrack and sea clay creates a luxurious soap that can be used as a facial soap for oily skin types but works well from top to bottom.

Here at Cheshire Fields we raise our own pastured pigs that get plenty of sunshine and fresh air with lots of land to root to their hearts content. The fat is saved and then rendered to be used in soap or for baking/cooking. Lard in soap contributes to a hard long lasting bar with a lovely lather.

Cheshire Fields handcrafts these soap creations in small batches using ingredients that are beneficial to the skin and to the environment. By using the age-old traditional cold process technique, all the beneficial nutrients are preserved. I aim to source all ingredients ethically, organic and/or wild crafted whenever possible. The proprietary formulas I create yields a mild and nourishing soap that is suitable for even the most sensitive skin.

Ingredients: Pastured Lard, Distilled Water, Organic Coconut Oil, Lye, Organic Argan Oil, Organic Shea Butter, Organic Castor Oil, Sea Clay, Bladderwrack

*Handmade soap will last much longer if kept dry between uses. Use a draining soap dish and keep away from direct steams of water.
